Technology

JARING Satellite Broadband uses a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) device. VSAT communicates by bouncing signals of a satellite in geosynchronous (stationary) orbit above the earth. "VSAT terminals" is satellite modem/router that is connected to a small dish operating at the customer's location. "VSAT hubs" consists a large dish and sophisticated network which controls the satellite equipments that the network provider operates for the "VSAT terminal" to communicate with.
