One of the most troublesome viruses on the internet nowadays is TDSS. TDSS is a Trojan first detected back in 2008 and it is a combination of two components, a rootkit and a bot. The rootkit hides the Trojan in your system and provides encrypted storage areas for the bot. The bot then infects the computer system and makes it part of a botnet.

Personal Data Theft is the stealing of personal information such as Name, birth dates and individual account numbers from personal, companies, government agencies, colleges and even hospitals as this information are like gold in the underground cyber world. More than 162 million records have been reported stolen in 2007 alone.
Targeted Attacks Using Emails
Targeted Attacks Using Emails are viruses that are spammed over emails. These attacks are designed to either create bots in your computer or to create pop-ups or fake security attacks that lead victims to pay for online anti-viruses that are supposed to kill of the fake attack.
